FOR SEMINARIANS

GIVE YOUR ALL

WITHOUT BURNING OUT

If you’re called to the priesthood, start healthy habits now.

Most days you’ll be running from one thing to the next. You’ll be tempted to skip meals or hit the drive-thru. You’ll want to crash on the couch instead of exercising.

GET COACHED IN HEALTHY HABITS

I launched my wellness program for seminarians in 2016 in the Diocese of Cleveland. We focused on nutrition and exercise, and the men saw big improvements.

HEALTH AND WELLNESS FOR SEMINARIANS

Weekly Lessons + Group Coaching | 13 Weeks

Start a new rule of life for your body and soul. Over 13 weeks, you’ll improve the ways you eat, move, pray and manage daily stress.

Weeks 1–8: Anchor Habits

We’ll start with small steps for better nutrition and movement. Weekly lessons include prayer and theological reflection.

Week 9–12: Fine-Tuning

By now, your anchor habits will start to feel natural. We’ll build on that with strategies for pastoral life, like stress management.

Week 13: Wrapping Up

You’ll come up with a post-program plan to keep your good habits going.

I also speak to seminarians about nutrition and exercise. If you’re interested in this for your men, we can arrange a time.
